AuldLangSynth Documentation

Welcome to the AuldLangSynth docs. Use the sidebar to navigate; start with Installation to get the app running locally.
A quick word of advice for getting the most from AuldLangSynth:
If you decide to use AuldLangSynth Without Qdrant, the app still runs, but you lose the vector database benefits:
- No persistent vector store for embeddings, so retrieval-augmented generation/judging can’t tap a shared index.
- Embedding inspection is limited to in-memory/local samples; “load more” and sync health aren’t available.
- Close-the-loop and Judge workflows can’t leverage stored similarity context across sessions.
- Larger datasets won’t be searchable by semantic vectors beyond the current browser session.
- You can still generate, judge, dedupe, transcribe, and export; you just won’t get durable, searchable embeddings or RAG-style context boosts.
